After a three-year hiatus, Japan and Taiwan will simultaneously release "Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning.

    The highly popular Japanese anime film series "Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning" is set to be released in Japan, thanks to the persistent efforts of its distributing company, Medialink. This has led Toei Animation to agree to a simultaneous release with Japan on October 27th (this Friday). Finally, after a three-year wait, fans in Taiwan will once again have the opportunity to enjoy the visual excitement and impact of the film in real-time alongside Japanese audiences.

"Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning" features the second-generation beloved characters as its main focus and introduces new characters such as the enigmatic young man, "Lui Ohwada," and the adorable Digimon, "Ukkomon." Renowned voice actors Megumi Ogata and Rie Kugimiya have lent their voices to these characters. Notably, Megumi Ogata's performance is especially remarkable, as she portrays her character from the age of 4 to 20, putting her skills to the test and creating an unforgettable voice acting experience in her career.

In "Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning," the new character, "Lui Ohwada," plays a pivotal role in the plot. He claims to be the "first human in the world to establish a partnership with Digimon," but he does not have a Digimon partner by his side. In a critical moment, he is rescued by the protagonist, "Daisuke Motomiya," and his friends. Lui Ohwada tightly holds a damaged Digivice called the "Sacred Plan," and he somberly remarks, "Humans and Digimon are not meant to meet; it will only bring misfortune to each other." This statement piques curiosity about his background and the story behind him.

    大和田類一角年齡跨度大且需要纖細的聲音演技，動畫公司找來曾為《新世紀福音戰士》、《劇場版 咒術迴戰 0》配音的緒方惠美賦予角色生命，她說：「片中會回溯到類的4歲時，再一路演到他20歲的經歷，幅度的確很大，但我認為是一次很好的挑戰機會。」

The character Lui Ohwada has a wide age range and requires a delicate voice acting performance. The animation company chose Megumi Ogata, who has previously provided voices for works like "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and "Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie," to breathe life into this character. She mentioned, "In the movie, the character will regress to when he was 4 years old and then age all the way to 20. It's indeed a considerable range, but I see it as a great opportunity and a rewarding challenge."

     釘宮理惠則是替大和田類的搭檔烏科獸配音，和緒方惠美一起加入《數碼寶貝》世界，她曾為《銀魂》的「神樂」配音，這次在片中為烏科獸增添超脫於人類，宛如天使般的獨特魅力。

Rie Kugimiya, on the other hand, provides the voice for Lui Ohwada's partner, Ukkomon. She joins the world of "Digimon" alongside Megumi Ogata. Rie Kugimiya is known for her role as "Kagura" in "Gintama," and in this film, she brings a transcendent and angelic charm to Ukkomon that sets it apart from human characters.

    緒方惠美表示，這是她首度為《數碼寶貝》配音，她很重視如何真實地呈現出大和田類跟烏科獸第一次互動時的情感，希望不管是長年支持作品的粉絲還是第一次看《數碼寶貝》的觀眾都能樂在其中，並特別感謝搭檔釘宮理惠與她的默契配合。

Megumi Ogata mentioned that this is her first time voicing a character in the "Digimon" series. She emphasized how important it is to authentically convey the emotions during the first interaction between Lui Ohwada and Ukkomon. She hopes that both long-time fans of the series and first-time viewers will enjoy the film and expressed special gratitude for her seamless collaboration with her co-star, Rie Kugimiya.

Megumi Ogata added a bit of a spoiler by saying, "Ukkomon has a singing scene in the movie, and it's the slowest-paced 'Happy Birthday' song I've ever heard. Ukkomon is really adorable." Rie Kugimiya responded with a laugh, "That part really tested my lung capacity, even though it's such a joyful song."

《數碼寶貝02 THE BEGINNING》由《數碼寶貝Last Evolution絆》導演田口智久與編劇大和屋曉再次操刀，延續數碼寶貝熱潮，當被問起對導演的演出手法印象深刻之處，緒方惠美說：「我很喜歡田口導演創造出來的世界，他重視細節且手法細膩，在他的作品中，場景不僅處理得很美，每一幕的光影甚至能讓觀眾感受到片中人物的情緒，手法相當的純熟，有好幾幕甚至讓我有一種真實場景的錯覺，不只如此，大型動作場面的調度與帥氣的場景，再再都展現出導演的功力，衝擊著觀眾的視覺感受。」

"Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning" is directed by Taguchi Tomohisa and written by Akatsuki Yamatoya, both of whom were also involved in "Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna." When asked about her impression of the director's filmmaking style, Megumi Ogata stated, "I really like the world that Director Taguchi creates. He pays attention to detail, and his approach is subtle. In his works, not only are the scenes beautifully handled, but the lighting and shadows in each scene can make the audience feel the emotions of the characters. His technique is quite skilled, and there are several scenes that even gave me a sense of being in a real setting. Furthermore, his handling of large action scenes and cool settings consistently showcases the director's prowess, impacting the audience's visual experience."

《數碼寶貝02 THE BEGINNING》以數碼世界冒險10年後為舞台，時間來到2012年，20歲的本宮大輔和其他被選中的孩子們，從外型到生活都有了不同以往的變化，東映動畫也在官方YouTube頻道上釋出1分多鐘的電影開頭片段，影片中可以看到借用師父店面，熱心並熟練地鑽研拉麵口味的大輔與V仔獸的日常模樣，還有各自朝著夢想前進的被選召的孩子們長大後的模樣，雖然大家看似邁向不同的人生道路，但是只要收到大輔「全員集合！」的訊息，他們就會齊聚在大輔的拉麵店，友情羈絆依舊密不可分，搭上和田光司的歌聲，熱血指數瞬間拉滿。

"Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning" is set in the Digimon world a decade after their original adventures, placing the story in the year 2012. The 20-year-old Daisuke Motomiya and the other chosen children have undergone various changes in their appearances and lives. To promote the film, Toei Animation released a 1-minute-plus movie opening segment on their official YouTube channel. In this clip, you can see Daisuke diligently and skillfully working at his ramen shop, which he has inherited from his master, as well as his interactions with V-mon. It also shows the grown-up appearances of the chosen children as they each pursue their dreams. Despite appearing to take different paths in life, whenever they receive the message "All gather!" from Daisuke, they come together at his ramen shop, and their bonds of friendship remain as strong as ever. Along with the powerful voice of Kouji Wada, the film's excitement level is off the charts.
